Called out to a gluing issue on a ima novimat edgebander, customer stated that the gluepot was heating up but it wasnt driving once it achieved the temperature.
Upon arriving onsite it was clear that a lot of glue was around and on the outside of the glue pot. Once we had removed the pot and tape magazine it revealed the extent of the problem
On this occasion the customer opted just for the gearbox to be repaired and the pot to put back on the machine, so thats what we did.
Tapered magazine was all fitted back to the machine plus some pneumatic pipe replacements, machine was fully functioning 48hrs after we arrived.
Gluepot and drive maintenance is essential to all edgebanders.
